Welding is an industry-based shop environment designed for the student who would like to develop a deeper understanding of metalworking and background as a foundation for continuing education or entering the world of work. The latest industrial metal working equipment is used to develop student skills associated with the welding trades. Welding, metal fabrication and safety are taught with a mix of lecture and hands-on competencies which maintain the student's interest and foster a deeper appreciation of the trade.
