Northwest Career & Technical Academy's Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program (TPAP) is a high-quality pre-apprenticeship program recognized by industry, workforce leaders, and union organizations in Washington State, Skagit, and Whatcom Counties. The TPAP provides students with instruction to prepare them for entry into registered apprenticeships, admission into college, and a pathway to a career.
Additionally, students will learn about work-site safety, construction-based applied math, safe use of hand and power tools, blueprint reading, communication skills, employability skills, material handling, framing skills, HVAC, and the basics of residential electrical and plumbing.
