    The Northwest Career & Technical Academy’s Marine Services program is a year-long located on our Anacortes Campus. The marine industry in thriving in our region with many diverse employment opportunities.  From engine mechanics, composite work, and electronics systems to dockside services, selling boats, and deck hands, employers are hiring.  Entry-level, seasonal and career track jobs are open and seeking qualified committed employees.  The NCTA Marine Services program will give you a view into the industry and a head start with the skills and knowledge needed to be successful.

     The Marine Services program offers students a unique opportunity to receive state of the art instruction from industry-trained professionals. Areas of study include: The Marine Industry, Seamanship, System Components, Basic Composites, Engine and Propulsion System Maintenance, Structural Maintenance, Basic Electrical and Electronics and Navigation; all with a focus on preparing students with the skills necessary for a successful future in the world of Marine Industry employment.

    This program is offered at the Anacortes Campus from 8 – 10:30 am. 

    • High school students may earn the following credit equivalencies for the school year: 1.0 Technical Math, 1.0 Science, and 1.0 Occupational Education. See your high school counselor for details.
