The Sustainable Engineering program is ideal for students interested in the high demand career field of engineering and engineering-sustainable related design. Students will experience real world, hands-on technical training, taught by industry professionals, which will introduce them to the complex world of renewable energy, sustainable development and manufacturing, sustainable building practices, computer aided design and drafting, prototyping in 2d and 3d, structural, mechanical, and civil engineering, project management, and much more. Students will have access to wind and solar power equipment professional land surveying equipment, CADD software, 3D printers, and Microsoft Project scheduling software; providing state of the art training.
This program is offered at the Meridian Campus from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m.
· High school students may earn the following credit equivalencies for the school year: 1.0 Engineering-based Technical Math, 1.0 Engineering, and 1.0 Computer Science. See your high school counselor for details.
